Proclaim His love and faithfulness

It is good to proclaim God’s love in the morning, and that was my experience again this morning. While laying the table and preparing breakfast for he leaders this morning, I was singing and praising God. I was also praying for neighbours, friends and families, but this morning a song that I often sing was in my  heart. “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning, new every morning, great are your faithfulness o God, great are your faithfulness. I was filled with joy as I was praising God and I was strengthened in body and soul. I was touched by the Lord.

Now by the time to go to bed, again I will praise the Lord and proclaim His faithfulness. “ Dear Lord you have been so good to me today, you have been faithful, walked with me and talked with me through everything that has happened today. Thank you!”

Ventande på Gud

Vi lever i tru og ventar på Gud. Det er den kristne grunnhaldninga. Dette gjer oss vakne og opne for alt som hender rundt oss. Det gjer at vi er tilstades i samfunnet og i kvardagen vår ventande på Guds nærvær og inngrep.

Looking after grandchildren

Sunday evening we went over to our son, Josef’s home. I had promised to look after their children for some days, because Josef and Liz had to go to England to a funeral. Her dear grandmother had passed away.

Flodbølgja – ein straffedom?

”Allah er sint! Difor har han sendt denne straffedommen over oss, sa den indonesiske muslimen på TV. Norske, meir eller mindre kjendte  kristne har kome med liknande påstandar om Guds dom og straff i samband med flodbølgja. Rett nok har nokre av dei kome med presiseringar eller orsakingar for uvørne påstandar i ettertid. Det er tydeleg at mange spør om kor Gud er i det som har hendt.

Vaktmann - ei profetisk røyst

Vi er kalla til å vera ei profetisk røyst til landet og folket vårt! Vi har mykje å læra av profetane i Det gamle og Det nye testamente.

A new year

Today is the first day in the year 2005. Yesterday is passed with good memories for me, celebrating the Ruby Anniversary together with my dear husband and 11 of our dear family members.
