Everything he does is wonderful

I opened my English Bible this morning to read my daily portion of God’s word. I was reading from Mark 7 about Jesus healing the deaf and mute man. At the end of the chapter this sentence was like jumping out of the page: “Everything he does is wonderful.”
Amen, yes, I said, it is true, I have experienced it over and over again. Jesus is wonderful and he does wonderful things. My spirit was lifted and my heart filled with joy as I was thinking of the wonderful things my Lord had done for me and he continues to do great things for me. I continued with my reading and the next verses were from Psalm 73 which said: “But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign Lord my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.” Again my mouth and heart said yes and amen, this is my experience, it is nothing more wonderful than to be in His presence.
I took my old guitar , played and praised the Lord for his word to me this morning and for his love and goodness. I was strengthened and refreshed, ready to do the many things that were on my list for today. I had this desire and this prayer in my heart: “ Oh Lord, let me do some wonderful things to somebody today and let the work of my hands and the words from my mouth be pleasing to you. And I will tell about the wonderful things you do.”
