Spending time with disciples in Kathmandu

Jaipur and Kalimpong

We have just finished our visit to Jaipur in Rajasthan and Kalimpong in West Bengal. Knut and Elisabeth Osland joined us for two weeks and we had a wonderful time together.

The covenant community in Jaipur is like second home to us. Zephry and Brenda are among our best friends. God has been blessing their effort to advance the Kingdom of God as they have been focusing on making disciples. After they moved away from a single congregation mode of functioning and began starting house-churches, their numbers have been multiplied. Now there is 22 house-churches networking with more than 400 disciples.

In Kalimpong we met with Timothy and Jyothi. They are leading growing covenant communities in the beautiful district of Darjeeling. We had some very good report of what God is doing among them and we had a wonderful time of fellowship. Solveig and Elisabeth were teaching one full day when Knut, Zephry and I did some planning together with Jyothi and Timothy.

I have not been able to connect to the Internet for a while, and now I only have been able to connect through an open Wi Fi from a neighbouring company to the hotel where we are staying. We have to leave soon for Orissa, but I am happy that we are able to send this short blog before we leave. We are all well and enjoying the presence of God.
