We have some beautiful paintings on the wall in our living room. Some are bought in Nepal and show majestic mountain peaks in the Himalayas. These peaks are covered with snow, even in summer, and at the feet of the mountain we see the small houses and green fields. They are so well painted. The sun is shining, and it is reflecting light from the glittering snow top. Shadow and light are painted in such a wonderful way and the details are there to perfect the picture. The artist is well known in Nepal. He is clever and I enjoy the paintings very much.
While lying
on the bed placed in our living room, because of the injury in my back, I enjoy
them even more. I am so happy that they are there on the wall. Because I have
plenty of time to study and admire them.
But the
other day some other art caught my full attention. In the window at my bed I
look at several different Orchids in full bloom. They are different in colour
and size. I was looking at them and admiring them for a long time. One plant
has a yellowish flower with very fine lines of red colours. One has a white
crown with purple dots decoratively scattered, and one has white crown leaves
with a yellow centre. They are beautifully shaped with so many small details.
They are so
decorative and beautiful they caught my attention for a long time that day. I
was studying this beautiful art. They got me thinking of the artist behind
these living plants, these beautiful Orchids, - he is God the Creator of all
the millions of flowers and plants of the earth. And more than that:
He is the Master
the artist behind myself how I am formed and created. The passionate prayer
from my heart to Him that day was: My dear Master, let everything that you have
invested in me and the life of Jesus Christ in me, be evident and seen, attracting
people and blessing them. So you, the real Master of Art, can be admired and
glorified through me.
We praise and thank God For the masterpiece he created in you! You are a woman of beauty that far surpasses the worldly beauties we see - you have Master Artist living in you!!!What can be more precious!
