I have just had a very encouraging testimony from Henry, our covenant friend in Nepal.
Miss Takit Lepcha is 35 years old. She is working with a woman handicraft group. She has no family and is staying alone in a rented home. She use to come to our fellowship and she shares sometimes the word of God and makes us very blessed.
Last Saturday she did not come to fellowship and we remembered her in prayer. After fellowship, at evening time, we went to visit her and pray. Her room was dark and very silent with no light and nobody could be seen, but the door was not locked. I knocked the door and we went inside. When I did switch on the light I saw her laying in her bed and looking at me, but she could not speak at that movement. She could not say anything of what happen. Since we could not find out the problem, we prayed only.
Again next morning I went to visit her, and at that time she was able to speak. She told me she had been suffering from a throat problem and went to hospital for treatment. The doctor told her that she had to have an operation for the throat and he gave a date for the operation. At the night she had lot of pain and felt that she had no patience to endure the throat pain. She even prayed to God, “please take me away with you”! She told me that in her life she had never felt this kind of pain. She could not sleep or eat any food. Saturday she made hot water and she did wash herself. Suddenly, one oval shape stone came out from the mouth. She was surprised by this wonder and she saw one hole under the tongue. Slowly the pain has gone and she was able to talk and eat.
She went to the doctor for that day and the doctor told her, “Now you have to take operation”. She told to doctor that there was no need for operation and she showed that stone. The doctor was surprised. “How did it happen?” Then she told she was a Christian and that she depended on God and that she was healed because she believes in the Almighty God Jesus Christ.
She is giving testimony in the fellowship. Now she is totally well and doing her work with the woman group. Our God is the living God. He is the Almighty God. Amen.
«Therefore I will teach them – this time I will teach them my power and might. Then they will know that my name is the LORD. Jeremiah 16:21,
Your covenant friend
