During our time in Kathmandu we have many leaders from covenant communities in several places of Nepal. They have one thing in common in what they share with us. They all tell of people coming to Christ and they all tell of miracles taking place. New covenant communities are being started and unreached people are being reached with the good news of the Kingdom of God.
Dobelbhai
prayed for a crippled man that had not been able to walk for 12 years. During
prayer he threw up and after prayer he was able to walk. The last six months
they have seen 13 new people come to Christ. Ganesh has seen two new families,
ten people, come to Christ last few months. Gangapura has only been a believer
for one year, but still she has brought five new people to Christ and is
leading a fellowship of eight families.
Kool
Bahadhur came to our seminar in Darjeeling six years ago. He still remembered
our teaching on family life. After that seminar he has started five covenant
communities, two big ones and three small ones. He has been instrumental in
bringing six hundred people into the Kingdom of God. This year he has seen
thirty new people being added to the believing company which he calls Covenant
Friends’ Fellowship.
Prem Lama
has been used by God to perform some outstanding miracles. One man that had
been paralyzed for four years has been healed and is now able to walk freely.
Another person that had not been able to walk for twenty six years was healed
by the power of God during a healing campaign Prem Lama held. People have been
healed from all kinde of diseases, like back pain, stomach trouble, head ache
etc. This fall seventeen people have been baptized and added to the covenant
community.
